The iRobot Roomba X30 packs impressive mopping and vacuuming capabilities into a sleek, compact package. With a sleek circular design that looks more like a normal Roomba rather than the boxy units this robot vacuum and mop combo is one of the most appealing looking in our tests. iRobot’s latest flagship model is also the most intelligent. It features advanced features such as enhanced dirt detection and future compatibility (another company’s robot that can wash mop pads on its own).

It's also the only robotic vacuum/mop that scored a perfect 10 out of 10 in our testing. This is thanks to the combination of modern sensors, including a restructured light system, camera, and a variety of lasers. The X40 Ultra was the only robot hoover and mop we tested that could refill and empty its basestation in a self-contained manner. It also boasted an industry-leading suction of 12,000Pa and self-cleaning mop mops.

The X40, like other iRobot products, is simple to use. It comes with a simple mobile application interface, and it integrates with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. The only issue is that the X40 still a loud unit. This could be a concern in the mornings before work or in the evening when you are trying to fall asleep.
