iRobot suggests that you clear areas in which the i3+ EVO will vacuum before you use it, including getting rid of any clutter or toys it may come across. In our testing, the i7+ was quicker and more maneuverable than our top choice and the eufy RoboVac G30, and it picked up large pieces of pet hair from all surfaces kinds including carpeting. Its biggest advantage over the eufy, though, is its self-emptying dustbin that eliminates a major cause of maintenance and reduces the cost of maintenance.

We were also impressed with the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot to start, stop, or pause cleaning sessions and also to move around the room and even vacuum a specific area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. We were able, once connected, to speak commands to the i7+, such as "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." This tiny Dyson model is an all-sports car that is amidst a sea of cordless vacuums that feel like minivans and buses. It is powerful enough to replace a stand-up vacuum in a majority of homes, yet it is also small enough to fit on a coffee table or bookcase.

The V10 is powered by a Lithium-ion battery with 7 cells of energy that can provide power without fading for 60 minutes.
